It’s Finally Here!

We drove 4,000 miles from San Francisco to Chicago. We braved the cold, blustery wind on Lake Michigan in December. We sunned ourselves by the pool in South Florida. We made way too many trips to places like Target, CVS and Walgreens in the past week.

We’re leaving the country tomorrow not knowing what lies ahead.

After years of dreaming, months of scheming and days of busying ourselves, we finally head to the airport in 8 hours to start our grand adventure. And it’s damn exciting.

Following 30 hours of travel from Miami to New York to Hong Kong to Bangkok, we will spend three weeks in Thailand before our three-month residency in Cambodia. We can’t wait to immerse ourselves in Southeast Asian culture and be completely out of our comfort zones. We have done some research on where we might find decent wine in Cambodia. It may exist…we’ll report back.

Thank you to all our friends and family who have helped say farewell and bon voyage in the last two months. We’ll miss you dearly, but can’t wait to share our adventure with you!

Our parents would classify us as fragile cargo! A visit to the Wynwood Murals in Miami on the final leg of our U.S. trip.

Our little bags are packed full…not much more is fitting in these!
